Fender Innovations is a young, dynamic company specializing in the development and production of patented fender systems for maritime transport. Since our founding in 2012 with just two employees, we have experienced remarkable growth. Today, we serve a broad and diverse clientele—from superyacht manufacturers to some of the world’s largest shipping companies—handling highly specialized and tailored requests.

We strive for perfection by carefully adjusting each project’s specifications to suit the vessel’s intended operations.

Analysis & Functional Specification
In close consultation with our clients, we define the vessel’s applications and develop detailed fender specifications accordingly.

Technical Design & Measurement
Our experienced development team collaborates closely with naval architects, shipyards, and end users to design and dimension the optimal fender system.

Every team member undergoes a rigorous in-house training program to ensure that every fender system we produce meets the highest standards of quality, performance, and reliability.

In response to increasing global demand, we’ve scaled our operations significantly, relocating three times to support our growth. Our latest move in September 2015 brought us to a purpose-built production facility in Wieringerwerf. This modern plant tripled our available space, enabling us to integrate advanced equipment, optimize workflows, and substantially increase output capacity.

Our Wieringerwerf facility is engineered for efficiency. A strategically designed production layout allows for seamless routing, which maximizes productivity and empowers our specialists to apply their technical expertise to its full potential.

In 2022, Fender Innovations strategically acquired Poly Marine Service, now operating as Poly Marine Fender Systems. This integration under the Fender Innovations Group allows us to combine advanced composite technologies with proven rubber fender solutions—broadening our engineering capabilities and enabling us to deliver a comprehensive range of lightweight, high-performance, and heavy-duty fender systems tailored to diverse maritime applications. and meet the specific needs of our global clientele.
