Our expectations:
As a member of the sanding team, your duties mainly consist of sanding fenders. This job comes with great responsibility. You and your colleagues are responsible for giving our fender systems the perfect look and shape. You work with great precision, keep your workplace tidy and well-ordered, and appreciate direct and open communication. You can handle the responsibility and freedom of carrying out your work according to company protocol yet using your own judgement. You have affinity with engineering and manufacturing. You also carry out interim checks on the sanded fenders.
Your duties include:
- Sanding our marine fender systems into the perfect shape.
- Carrying out interim checks of the radius and dimensions of the sanded fenders systems
Job requirements:
- Being eager to learn
- Being good with your hands
- Having an eye for detail
- Experience with sanding is not required
- Precision and dimensional accuracy
- A driving licence, category B minimum
- Command of spoken and written Dutch and/or English.
- No 9-to-5 mentality
As a sanding operative, you need to be flexible, accurate and a team player. You also need to be hard-working, capable of working under pressure, proactive, responsible, motivating, service-minded, and have good social and communication skills.
